That's like that guy who stepped through a glass window while people were watching him.

It must be some kind of special glass or something. Regardless, that shit is impressive. Not only the salt shaker, but also what they did with the coin in the last part.

i was trying to think if it was some frequency trick- touching the glass with some frequency emitter which is perfectly in tune with the glass' innate frequency, turning it almost into a liquid? i can't figure it out

Basically he put a card through the window, and then brought it back all wet.
