Word. I'm a huge fan. Just saw them live last October.
There are a couple other folks here who listen, too (U4EA, I think).

I think they're absolutely incredible. New album is great, but be sure to check out their older stuff, too. :icon14:

Note page 21 in the "What are you listening to?" thread:
EDIT: nm, I didn't realize there was a picture of a bunch of manass on that page. :olo: :o!

ive just recently begun to explore the world of rock more seriously and this is one band which to me really stands out

Indeed the older albums are also good, in fact im in doubt about which album of theirs I consider to be the best: Catch Without Arms or El Cielo, Im leaning towards the latter

El Cielo is definitely my favorite, but I know a bunch of people who like Lietmotif best. They're all excellent, of course. :)

How did you come across them? A buddy lent me El Cielo, so that's probably why I like it so much -- it was my first introduction to their music. (and because the album fucking owns)

I aquired the Steatlh soundtrack because I liked the songs used in the flick and one of them was a track of Dredg, which led me to the albums :)

Fair enough. Do you know what stuff you've heard? All their albums sound quite different, so I know a lot of people who didn't like them at first, but then heard a different album and were like, "this is good. Who is this?" :icon26:

Really? I think that's what I like most about them. Have you heard anything off of Lietmotif? He's got a different style.

btw, favorite song is Canyon Behind Her. (close second is probably Same Ol' Road)

I went to their site and listened to the newest samples. They sound talented but there's just something about the music style that I don't like.
