The little tool foo made is most excellent - http://www.quake4world.com/q3mapupdater.zip

I want to edit it a bit and add a few different servers here and there (depending on what I need). ;) Does anyone know how to find the actuall url of maps that the server fetches for downloads?

There is no URL for it.

When a Q3 server sends you the files you need, it's sending you them natively via your UDP connection to the server. The server doesn't provide an HTTP (web) interface to obtain those files.

I don't know if it's possible to obtain a list of pak files which a server is using, sadly I suspect that it is not possible.

BTW, glad you like the program.

The only real option I think is either a link in the hostname or a URL in the MOTD.

Also, /callvote map in OSP will show you all maps per mode, but then you'll have to call every mode to see what you need in case.

Ah, well I suspected as much. Wolf: ET has http downloads I'm pretty certain, too bad q3 dosen't. :tear:

In osp and cpma you can do /maplist and /condump servermaps.txt, which is nice but slightly less convenient. :D
