Right click on an open windows title bar. Then select "move". Then what? I allways wondered about this myself.

yea it's probably so that you can move a window without using the mouse, but whats the keyboard shortcut to access that menu in the first place?

It's main use now is to shift windows back when you've lost the title bar.

Happens with winamp for me sometimes when I switch resolution.

Regardless, it's *almost* useless.

Just use ALT+SPACE to pop up the menu, then hit M. You can use the arrow keys to move the window around.

It's good when you don't have a mouse, or have a window that is off the screen and you can't get to it with the mouse.

The move command can be used when moving a file or folder that's tied into the registry.

Like if you want to put 'My Documents' on your D drive, you can do this by either:
#1 - Editing the Registry
#2 - Using Tweak UI
#3 - Opening two windows and holding your right mouse button while dragging it to the second window and slecting move.

A logoff will need to be taken with any of the methods.

A) I don't think you're talking about the move command DB is talking about.

B) What you're talking about can be done just by right-clicking on My Documents and selecting Move anyway - no need for special commands.

Well if that's the case, then someone can simply use SoftProfile Juggler.
