I know some stand up fans roam the boards, ie CrinklyArse >:E

Just wondering if anyone else is going to see Jimmy Carr at the Middlesbrough Town hall on the 12th of May. Should be good stuff :paranoid:

Why can't you handle a full stand up show? I bet if it was Bill Bailey it would be a different story ;)

aye. he was good on QI when he managed to use all his fridge magnet letters to spell out some mad sentence, but that's the only time he's ever really made me laugh.

With his funny gay voice. Oh, there in lies the total act. I saw Ben Elton a few months back, brilliant.

You've just won a prize - you must be the first Q3W poster to visit Middlesbrough without either being at Teesside uni or being born here. :D

Fair enough. You wouldn't happen to be about 6.4" would you?

More of the region of 6'0". Why?

There is a Dave that comes into the Red Rose once in a while that I recognise from around uni, but I am assuming that the Dave in your nick is your real name.

Yeah, I’m in my second year there, but I’m using the term study in its broadest sense. If I don’t bomb this year then somebody is smiling on me from above.

Journalism. The course itself is the biggest example of the arts & media department winging the course structure as they go along that I’ve ever seen. There are eight people on the course, and we spend most of our time sleeping at the back of other people’s lectures because Teesside decided that we should spend over half our study time doing things that have nothing to do with our course at all.

The students coming onto the course next year will have one of the best courses going, but that is only because we’ve bitched so much about them testing their ‘course’ out on us first, allowing us to find out what the problems are for them.
