Have played on this server before.


Was playing tonight with friends plus the general public, when THIS HAPPENED.


I am patched to 1.0.4 and have never seen this before and am not overheating on CPU or vid card. FPS drops to about 6. Sometimes you can't move or the game eventually freezes. So I ask you...

I tried the impromptu trance party command in the console but it didn't fix the problem. I think the "/seta_consume_ecstacy 100" command might have messed things up.

Highest temp on GPU when this happened was 49 C
Highest temp on CPU when this happened was 44 C

I'm wondering if it has to do with the action getting too intense. When that would happen on Quake 3, I would usually get kicked to the main menu, like right when a rocket would be in my face.

Also, how to I turn on the FPS display?
