My as of yet unnamed Great Dane pup, picked him up tonight.

Met both his parents, they have fantastic temperaments and his sire is the biggest fucking dog I've ever seen. He's absolutely titanic, the top of his head came up to my chest.
Oh, and this dog is already better at math than ToxicTard. Then again, so is the pillow he's laying on.

I worked with a guy while in high school and one day went over to his house for some reason. I didn't know he had great danes and had never seen one before. I about shit my pants when 3 of them came running up to me, each of their heads was nearly chest high. Fucking scared the shit out of me, nearly literally. You could've put a saddle on 'em.

Beautiful pup. Dogs rule.

Sadly I had to put my rottie down last July. He was 11.5 years old and was in a LOT of pain from hip, back, and leg problems.

That sucks man. I've never had a dog myself but a lot of my friends have them. A good girlfriend of mine has a rotti and he's just about the coolest (and gayest, literally) dog I know.
Still, looks like a great pup. Name it Abe, as it will probably be as tall as Lincoln.

Unfortunately the wife's already nixed the name Sprocket, which was my favorite. I had to stomp on her suggestion of Gimli. WTF WOMAN?!?! THAT'S A GODDAMN DWARF'S NAME!

our cats have names officially, but we just call them "black", "red" or "cat"
