Temperatures are expected to be as low as -35C or -31F during the next 5 days. I feel like staying the fuck home and telling everyone to piss off.
This is when smoking outside is bad for your health.

It's been getting up to the 60's every 2-3 weeks here. I don't think it's been below 30 during the day, or below 15 overnight all winter. Weird.
It finally snowed here last night for the first time - but we hardly ever get snow, so nothing odd about that.

It's uhhh... raining here right now, I think it's like +3 which is really insane concidering the date and the fact that I've never seen it this warm ever before in January in my life.
So yeah, I'm loving it lol.

same here in northwestern ontario. it's -15c wich is the coldest day we've had since the start of december.
it's gonna warm up again tomorrow with lows of -4c or so.
not bad considering we usually get some -40c days this time of year.
i think it has to do with the same weather system that had vancouver getting 28 days of straight rain.

I dunno but here in the southern maritimes it's been really nuts, there's absolutely no snow on the ground right now, it's just completely bare and even the ground is still soft, not frozen at all.

Last week marked the 26th consecutive day of rain in Vancouver. I'd take snow and cold over this shite any day :icon8:

Last night, temps jumped above freezing point and the weather decided it was high time to let it rain. Overnight, temp drops below freezing, and now we've got fucking ice everywhere. Sidewalks are like skating rinks. Cars sliding into each other, people falling. It's absolute insanity.

lol dude I go out and smoke a J right in front of this hill where cars slide down out of control every winter. If it were up to me I woulda just sat there and watched em crash one after another just for giggles but my buddy (the guy who got busted selling coke in my car) found the mall manager and got him to give him salt so he could go salt the bottom of the hill so the cars wouldn't slide out of control so easily going downhill.

heh... I heard the same was happening in Seattle. It made me laugh because a buddy who was trying to make it sound like WA is the best place to be said that all you hear about it being rainy in that region is myth...
I'd happily take -35 over the snowing, melting, freezing, melting, snowing, freezing, etc. that we've had here lately. It sucks. There are cars on the street that get their tires frozen into puddles that end up freezing overnight. Give me constant cold temps, if anything.
Last year I took a trip to Grand Mairais and it reached -40. I'm going again this weekend so we'll see if the same thing happens.

terrible year for snowshoeing into quetico to do some fishing. referring to the slushy crappy ice on the lakes. we may have even lost some ice to all the rain and snow melt run-off in late december.
good fishing on all the lakes near the park boundry line. one kilometere walk usually at most. lakers and walleyes.
