Finally won a playoff game...and tried their damndest to blow it. Even losing Alexander right off the bat didn't keep them from pulling out the win.

I'm missing college football already, though.

I'm happy for Seattle. But I'd like to take this opportunity to say congrats to Denver and:

Tom Brady Can Suck my DICK!

ahhhhhhhh...that made me feel better. Since I don't really have a dog left in this fight, I'll be (arbitrarily) pulling for Carolina and Indy tomorrow, then Denver and Seattle next week (if the Bears win....if Carolina wins, I'll root for them).

dude make a website

tombradycansuckmydick.com

that would rock

i'm thinking about detroitlionsandkwamiekilpatrickcansuckmydick.com

because the lions suck, but the mayor sucks so much more, so i'd make it a big vortex of suckyness...

fuck yes, Denver and Seattle are both through. (We shall not talk about the breaks the Broncos got....)

A Super Bowl matchup I wouldn't be too mad about :)

its too bad the pats couldnt lose to a better team. if you really want to, you can look at the #s, denver couldnt score WITHOUT the 5 turnovers, that pats defense has to be absolutely PISSED about having to get back on the field for that shit

ah well. guess ill be cheering for seattle or chicago. cant stand carolina, denver, pittsburgh, or indy

Meh, the Redskins are a one dimensional team while the Seahawks can be proficient on both sides of the ball. If you can wear down the Redskin defence, not give them too many turn overs (although it was close in that respect), or hell, even just make a few lucky plays to get a lead...the Redskins just don't have the offense to put up points quickly.

If the Seahawks' defense can keep up the intensity they showed in the first half of the game, they'll win the superbowl.

Although as a Bettis/Ward fan, I'm hoping that doesn't happen.

The Colts are the golden team this year no matter how much the media played up the Pats hype.

Patriots were the underdogs but all the media had them picked to win.

Seattle/Indianapolis Super Bowl.

Edit: The NFL is just damn lucky Kordell doesn't QB anymore. Would they be undefeated champs? moron alert if you think otherwise.

On a somewhat related note...remember when the Superbowl was always the last Sunday of January? That would be my birthday this year (the 29th), if it weren't for the pussies who wanted an extra week between championships and Superbowl. Or was it the terrorist attacks that changed it? I don't remember anymore, fuck terrorists and pussy football players anyway.

I'm in the same boat...birthday is on the 27th, so mine fell on superbowl sunday before. Was only once in '91 since I was born ('82), so I had planned on going to the superbowl no matter who was playing one of the next times (2002, 2008, etc.) it happened.

Even if it didn't fall right on, it still made for nice birthday parties

...till they instituted that shit.

It started because of the attacks pushing the season back a week and someone in charge liked it...

I'll admit that Austin has a great bunch of places to play and work on your game, but I find it hard to believe you can tear yourself away from the internet or your wifely duties long enough to work on your game.

so I'm betting that you are like most semi-regular golfers.

You lie a lot about your average score! ;)

heh heh One mulligan per 9 and we hit two off the first tee and nobody can ever remember if they've ever used their mulligan or not!

Hype?

2 straight Super Bowl titles, 3 out of 4 Super Bowls, an undefeated quaterback (10-0) and a record breaking coach (10-1) in the playoffs.

They're still undefeated cause the Pats beat themselves last night.

When your chump team equals the performance of the pats in the post season you can talk about hype. Until then, you can stfu.

All I'm saying about the Pats is that they had a shitty year. They started their comeback to late and the only reason people were seriously picking them was because of how great they have played in the past. As far as any of these teams being my chump team, none of them are.

I am a languishing Cowgirls fan :)
