so I'm watching man u vs. arsenal during lunch (replay no dobut) and it starts me thinking about the u.s. squad.
I was wondering what you guys thought of the u.s. keeper Keller? Where do you think he fits in with the best keepers, say in the last 10-15 years? Is he top 10? 5? or better?
No doubt, he might be the best player from the states in that time frame, but I was wondering what you guys think of him overall.

I went to a school across town from him and hated his guts, but now I have to root for him cuz he is going to have to play his ass off for us to get anywhere this summer.
so what is it?
is he good?
great?
or just another fucking yank in over his head?

He's not bad
I'd rate him top 30 in the prem of all time...

Keller is pretty amazing. Its too bad that people havent seen him enough. Im glad that everyone got to see Friedel in the WC2002 (unfortunately because Keller was injured). Friedel was easily one of the best there, and Keller is better than he is.

I do wonder though why the bigger teams dont sign Keller or some of the other solid American keepers. I can understand if its because of limited non-EU slots but even teams that aren't pressed for slots dont sign them :\

thats what kinda got me thinking about it. granted, I'm not a huge fan of the game and don't get to see many games from the prem, but I do try and watch the national team and keller has had some killer games for the u.s.
granted he is no spring chicken, but i think he is still one of the better keepers playing today
