The gist of the article: Bush never liked Delay or Abramoff, and now he has the burdensome problem of keeping himself clear of the ethical and legal messes they've made. Woe to Bush.

In fact, since Bush didn't praise Delay's character at one of his speeches, then it is obvious Bush doesn't approve of Delay's tactics. They even go so far as to imply that Bush thinks he's blue-collar trash:
Of the former exterminator, a Republican close to the President's inner circle says, "They have always seen him as beneath them, more blue collar. He's seen as a useful servant, not someone you would want to vacation with."

I mean this article nearly sounds like it was written by a White House aide or something, it's pathetic. People see Time as a high-quality journalistic periodical, and they're having this apologizing spoon-fed to them to convince people Bush isn't corrupt like Delay and Abramoff. :icon27:
