I went to three different pharmacies, all of which came up with some lame excuse why they couldn't sell me ephedra tea:
1. It'll be prescription-only starting next year (this was a week ago), so I can't sell it to you now. (Uh-huh.)
2. I don't have it in stock and our supplier says they don't have any either. (Uh-huh.)
3. It was completely outlawed some time ago. (Gee, how was I able to buy it back then?)
What are they thinking?
