interesting that nvidia had to be bascially forced to offer tow true 16X ports though eh?
i dont understand why they wouldent do this from the beginning.. meh

i am still sitting on a amd 64 3200+ and a 9800 pro. :/

Yeah, splitting the PCIE bandwidth didn't really make much sense. But neither did the non-support of VSync and dual monitor.

the whole dual GFX card was more of a trump card...
i do admire 3dfx for getting it running.. but it was used in a diffrent context, and one that made sence...
now with most/all app's not being able to take advantige of two peers that have the same power, its kinda irratating that others make such a big deal about it.
interesting yes,
great that they got it working yes,
amazing, No.
Anyway, ATI's reply for it with the "crossfire" is no beter on a side note,
it overcomes sime of the barrer's but no matter what, its still a hastle that is not needed.
Anyway, i will stop ranting, and let you get back to selling your "crappy" hardware

If you guys still have to ask for permission if you can do stuff after you've posted here for almost 6 years, you can't do it. When you've been a member for that long, it's almost irrelevant...

I've never done this before. I'm also not sure if I've seen it done. Therefore I asked for permission.
I didn't want to violate the TOS.

Is tis payback for the internet connection cutting?

As long as she doesn't take the computer, I won't have to hunt her down and kill her. :icon25:
