the point wasn't how classically appropriate the site was, indeed, the point was that it was different, and worked as a 1-time method of generating huige revenue.

Yeah, if the popularity keeps at a steady pace, then the hosting alone will eat a chunk of that revenue the kid made... unless he has a deal with the host now or some other sponsor that pays the bw bills.

On the other hand it can't be more than a few kb to load the main page so..

I hate this type of crap. Yes the kid had an idea, but basicly the same old advertisement. Look at the ads, most of them are money scams, casino related, dating/xxx and free ipods.

I hope kid gets into some legal trouble.

He could really care less what content is on there, he's already bagged his million, but yea that's another reason for little return interest from surfers. Most of those ads on there fucking suck.

True, but even if I had an idea like this I would kinda feel shitty about running it. All you are doing is promoting this type of crap and making money off people who suffer or get scammed in the end, I guess a million can be worth all that.

I would by far prefer creating a legitimate business that provides quality services or products.

He probally gets free hosting as he has a referal link to a hosting company at the bottom.

Golden Palace might buy it for 10 thousand+, they always like to get publicity for stupid things.
