I'm working nights Christmas Eve, Christmas and Boxing day. Anyone else going to have a shitty christmas?

My Christmas has been bomb ass so far. Open my gift from the girlfriend yesterday and got some nice hoodies, bottle of givenchy cologne, and a drink mixer.

Yes. I'm alone since I have to work today and the 26th and the rest of the family scooted down to North Carolina. SO I THINK I'LL DRINK A LOT AND SHIT ALL OVER THE HOUSE.

Im working tomorrow morning and getting some good beans for it

visiting my folks, the missus's folks, my very sick gran in some filthy hospital, my business partners/good friends - in that order - so most of the actual day will be spent driving or practicing diplomacy.

fuck, it's actually christmas eve now. i need to shave, and sober up, and put gas in the car, and find some clean clothes and deal with whatever that huge and horrible thing is in the living room before the missus finds it.

Nope, off till Tuesday. If I did work Monday it would be double time. Would have been fine with me.

went over to visit my gran in hospital (her ward's near A+E) - my gran was fine, she's on the mend and wolfing down her mince pies - but a+e was a right shitfest. blood and drunks everywhere, meatwagons coming and going every few minutes, looked like a barrel of laughs.

Well, if you call driving 4 hours with a bad flu to visit my really sick aunt in the hospital for two days over Christmas and then driving home in a squall for 4 hours at midnight fun, then I guess it was a fun Christmas. If you like spending Christmas in a motel, that is.
