According to that non-scientific poll. 140,000+ responses, though. I was surprised it was that high myself. Wonder what the results would have been if that poll was posted on fox.
Although you can't read too much into those #'s, I think it is a pretty strong statement as to the public's current opinion of GWB.

I would dearly love to see an impeachment proceding/escalation prevent any further progress of Bush's agenda, mar his "legacy" as the president, and render him and his cabinet untrustworthy.

Didn't someone point out that the last poll was very easily hackable with javascript?

not "easily", but yes, just like anything else online. nothing is unhackable.

Here's something interesting:

I didnt know they were storing telecommunications data since the 9/11 attacks, and were combing through it in this "executive order"...

The radiation scannings are also adding to the skepticism of activity for national "security":

I wonder how they will affect people's positions on impeachment.

Unfortunately, and not surprisingly, they've already got the ball rolling on the defense:

According to some, Bush can't be touched, and I'd expect this would be exploited such that a few minions and their managers get the heat for this.

it's a fucking shame. the cunt seems to be the dumbest and worst president the US has had. like me and my mate were discussing, who gives a fuck about the opinion polls anymore, there wont be no 3rd term anyway, bush can do whatever the hell he wants, especially if he cant be impeached.

Yes. One IP address can vote as many times as you want - takes about 5 minutes to write a script by anyone who has a little programming knowledge. Its really as silly as the "Which game is better smackdown" votes.
Is there any possibility for Bush to get a congressional censure? (I was just watching a ripped West Wing episode where Sheen got one).

Who suceeds him doesn't matter, it's the act of impeachment that's significant.

You dont think impeachment is a significant event?
Doesn't it give government more license if no matter what they do, the president doesn't get impeached?
What you're saying means impeachment is pointless and would never be useful. Why have it or bother talking about it at all, ever?
NE Questions?

Wrong as usual, stupid. If Bush gets impeached it's still up to the Senate to actually do something. Clinton was impeached, nothing happened.

This is basically proof that people are morons who deserve to get what they vote for.
