We know we all dream in our sleep even if sometimes

we don’t recall…
Even have some repetitive dreams. I don’t know who’s the one who asked if we were dreaming only in black and white only.
I sometimes have dreams coming from nowhere but that seem so realistic. How can our mind create these dreams with places and people we don’t know and still they seem so real. I almost get the chills sometimes when I wake up. I just can’t comprehend how clear they can be and they are just dreams.

I sometimes dream in grey, but most of the time in a tinge of blue. Hope that helps.

I think it's just the neurons (things that move around data) in your brain firing as they are being repaired and strengthened. Therefore, stuff you've just learned or experienced will be more likely activated and things related to them too.

I am not the one saying we are dreaming in black and white. In fact the other night in my dream there was 4 blue cows. lol but true. I would really like to know the meaning of it.

Maybe while you sleep you are living in another universe where things are very, very different... a universe where I got laid numerous times

because all the reality we perceive while awake is just the result of the brain decoding sensory information. So the fact that the brain can create something extremely 'realistic' while sleeping shouldn't amaze you too much.

So, what about the 4 blue cows in my dream? I never had a glimpse of a though about it before.

Yes dreams can be very real -

I guess it's all our perception, does anything even exist if there is no conscience thing to observe it? Perhaps it’s easier to understand the world in physical terms even if it’s not the truth, otherwise everything will be a mess.

"But some of us awake in the night with strange phantasms of enchanted hills and gardens, of fountains that sing in the sun, of golden cliffs overhanging murmuring seas, of plains that stretch down to sleeping cities of bronze and stone, and of shadowy companies of heroes that ride caparisoned white horses along the edges of thick forests; and then we know that we have looked back through the ivory gates into that world of wonder which was ours before we were wise and unhappy."

I woke up just before from a dream about my best friend who is currently in South Africa until the 7th... She was completely real, it was awesome/horribly depressing.

i was dreaming i was in a game running round with a gun, i shot some guy then i thought "ah fuck it its only a dream" and as i thought that i was like
"woooooah, im dreaming"
and then i could move my hands, but it sill looked like i was in the game, i could even throw my weapons on the floor....

then i like warped out of game world and seen me sitting at the PC playing it...

lol, i've had that kinda dream before chunk, where you're dreaming and then you kinda realise you're dreaming, and you can do stuff and move around, controlling your dream.
Wierd as FUCK when it happens, though i wish it happened more often.
edit: Isn't it called lucid dreaming or something?
edit2: Thought so

i was once able to induce lucid dreaming. but it requires some work. for me it worked best to recap my past dreams the day after.
misfortunately, i seem to suffer from something similiar to sleep paralysis every time this happens.

Well I had a rather different version of this.
I was in this lift, and all of a sudden it started falling, quicker and quicker, and i screamed.
But then i thought, "hang on, i'm dreaming, well fuck this then" and woke up...
