I'm also going to buy a new D-link KVM switch.

I bought this KVM switch but it comes with four slim cables. The D-link comes with 2 standard cables.

Nice. I've got an old "CheeseBox" that converts RCA or S-Video into VGA.

I also picked up a new power supply also.
I printed up a list of about 3 specific things I wanted, but forgot the list at home. But I said it was around $82.
When I got home I took it out and realized it was a 380 watt.
The one I wanted was a 430 watt for $3 more.
Anyways right now I play my xbox on a 14" commodore monitor.
But I want to have two CPU monitors and there's only room for 2 monitors on my hutch.

Yes I have a t.v. I think it's a 25" but it's all fucked up at the top.
Some important info is at the top and I can't see WTF it says. Plus I usally sit at my desk while gaming anyways.
Plus I'll probably get a nicer resolution on my monitor.
Also hopefully in the summer I'll probably buy a $1,000ish 16x9 T.V.

i would understand this perhaps if you were at school or still living at home, but if i remember correctly aren't you going to be 35 soon?

Same here I prefer to play my Xbox on my Monitor, I use the X2VGA+ which shoots the High Def output to VGA with no loss to my 20" it was worth every penny including the shipping cost from japan

i'm sure the xbox will look good on it, but since the ps2 natively doesn't have vga output (a big mistake by sony, btw) i've heard these don't look all that great.

YPrPb to VGA adapter? What a waste of money. I hope it at least works both ways. You should have just gone for a PC video capturing card. You could then both play games on your monitor as well as record them directly onto the pc

No dude, that wasn't me. I wish I had a classic car and had my own house.
My T.V. works, but it's kinda fucked up at the top.
Whole bunch of lines through the top and it's a bit short from what it use to be for height of the screen.
Plus if you watch any credits, you'll see the letters kinda wrap around and the screen at the top and you'll actually see them backwards.
So it's hard to see any info at the top of the screen.
Yes I can still play on it but it'll be so much nicer on this 19" monitor.

How much did it cost? Im looking for one myself tbh. I have a fine TV, but still, when the missus wants to watch some cock off x-factor, i'm shunted to the pc with no 360 to play...

Well I finally got it. They didn't have any in stock at the time, so they had to order more from Japan I believe.

Anyhow it's working great. I'm not sure about the 360 but the original xbox dashboard only puts out 480i only. Maybe the 360 outputs in 480p, but this is something to really consider. Therefore I can't see the dashboard but I never use it anyways.

Anyways, I got it hooked through my KVM switch and it's working fine.
You may have to play with the colours on your monitor.
And the adapter was 61 us plus you'll component cables.

Find me one that works the other way and we'll talk.
