Is there a free, good program i can use for Hotkeys, such as binding keys to control wmp volume and shiznit?

honestly, i recommend you use winamp and get a plugin for global hotkeys:

wmp is quite bloated though compared to winamp. you should try it for a few days and see. more skins than you can shake a stick at, too.

get yourself some skins. you can get both "classic" and "modern" - modern having the "neeat-0" factor, but in exchange for a larger memory footprint.
i don't use the library, so someone else might be able to tip you on that. don't get carried away with the EQ. also that's one less window to have to look at with some skins. i always just have the main window itself and the playlist visible.

and if you know how to change associations manually
