They're lining up outside of bestbuy again

Read a washingtonpost article today and it mentioned a rumor that bestbuy was getting another shipment in tomorrow. Went up there tonight to get my brother some component cables, and there were 2 tents and a couch outside the door. It's going to be below 0 tonight with wind chill.

heh.

the article makes a good point about microsoft losing a lot of potential business in the fact many folks are only going to be in the market for a 360 before christmas, and if they don't get one then, the odds of shelling out that kind of cash again this year for their kids is slim. So the next chance will be next xmas season, at which point the ps3 will probably be available.

the article was called 'xbox's disappearing act' or something like that.

I was guessing that they might dump a bunch of them out to stores before christmas based on how much advertising they have been doing.

Don't know if I am going to bother with one now if they do become available.

Launch Day 2.

Itd be more interesting if they created this shortage hype earlier and created some crazy buzz about it.

then have a shitload of units available right before christmas. hmm...or maybe thats what they're doing. who knows. its kind of weird to create this shortage buzz and then have tons of units available after christmas.

well, i dont mean immediately after christmas, but sometime after christmas. im talking about sometime in january or february.

i cant imagine that they will keep doing this shortage business while the PS3 approaches.
