I used it for 2 years till I had many virus and removed it in the process of cleaning up my PC. Since then I’ve tried to reinstall it and every time my antyspyware refused to install it and I get a message like… A virus is trying to install in your PC, Do you allow…
Any tips?

Yeah use a better client. eMule is probably the most matured/developed of all P2P clients out there, and one one of the better networks. Azureus comes a close second, but bittorrent is a different kind of network.

eMule will take a few days of running solidly and *sharing files* before it starts to be effective in downloading, but once you've built up your network reputation it runs at a good clip.

When I thought that ToxicBug was just joking...Never heard about eMule and I wouldn't know how to load it, I've tried BitLord already and was unable to do anything with it. Is this program alike?

eMule doesn't use torrents. it uses ed2k, and has a built-in search instead of web browser interface

pros: wider range of stuff, with better availability than torrents because it'll find anything in anyone's shared folders without a link

cons: pretty slow, in spite of what foo said; downloads don't usually start straight away like torrents do; has a habit of using occasionally using the SMTP/POP ports, which gets AVG all excited if you have it; been known to clog up FTP port as well (at least on my machine)

Also, it's banned by many private trackers for its many flaws (disregarding the tracker announce interval, ignoring the private flag in torrents, incorrectly reporting partial or completed downloads, etc.)

I prefer clients that connect to gnutella (2). Shareaza does multiple-networks but they still take long to connect to (even gnutella) just like it does on emule. Which leaves me to believe their gnutella implementation is poor. That's why I use limewire (err, or frostwire now actually) for gnutella use, and it's super fast. For a large majority of the files the queue lines are non-existent (at least for me).

Thanks a lot my friends. I finally just dl limewire, I am pleasently surprised how easy it was to dl and install and more again to see how fast it works. Almost every source is from cable or t1 so I dl 12 songs averaging 3 to 4 minutes each in just 6 minutes.
I highly recommand. Almost forgot, there are no adware nor spyware. I dl it from this site http://www.download.com/LimeWire/3000-2 ... g=pdp_prod
