Reading the Lagometer

Thats what it usually looks like, note the big vertical yellow line at the end was because of me taking the screenshot, but the rest is a good representation of what happens on my lagometer on that server.
Im from the UK and that server was a multiplay.co.uk server, the scoreboard usually shows my ping to be around 20-30.

Is there anything wrong with that? I did notice alot of yellow going on, i read that "upset chaps" site and tried increasing my net_clientmaxrate but it didnt change anything.

My connection = 1mbit down 128k up
Comp Specs: 2.8ghz p4, 6800gx, 512mb ram

that looks pretty normal. a perfect connection will have no yellow.

i wouldn't increase in the net_clientmaxrate beyond 16000. i had it at 25000 for a while and when i put it back down to default my ping/performance was much better.

ive read of people having problems with only 128kbps up. if your upstream is at least twice that i see no problem with a maxrate of 25000.
