Do you think that..

Post by DRuM »

...most members who've not been around since the demise of q3w will find their way back here? Or do you think we've permanently lost a large percentage of them, either due to lack of interest or not bothering to look anymore to see if q3w is back up?

i think it was down to long,

i mean people mightve been checking back every once in a while for the 1st mnth or 2 but i doubt it after such a long period

never know tho, people might still have the link in favourties and click it sometime in the future :)

Who knows, maybe a few will come back.

The best of the bunch found their way to raw-one though, so it doesn't much matter to me.

It's surprising how many that didn't go to raw's are already popping up in LEM and a few other places. I think a good percentage will make it back.

Q3W had like 30000 members. Even if 25000 of those were altnicks, I'd still say we've lost a large percentage.

If you mean percentage of people we lost due to the transition Q3W->raw's, I'd say we've lost about half. Just a guess, though.

I don't come here for the masses anyway. I come for a few people I know and like.

Yea I've seen a couple pop up already who didn't post at raw-one.

We might actually see a lot come back over time.

I agree; it won't be.

But maybe by spamming all our IM/email lists and in irc a lot of people will find out it is up again.
