hey guys, here's the deal- i've got a site that's my online portfolio that i've been forwarding to potential clients and employers. i need a couple of you to come and check things out and make sure everything's working okay. as an added incentive, my photo gallery has some nice 1600x1200 wallpapers that you can download. :)

any and all feedback you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Looks great man. The only thing I would suggest is setting your table height to 100% because on the portfolio page it doesn't reach the bottom for me.

this is something that i've been trying to fix. i have the main container set to the css value "min-height:100%;", but it won't extend. i'm tempted to cheat and add a spacer down there that will give it extra length. but that would be a total hack. note that there are NO tables on the site that i know of. :)

also, if any of you want 1600x1200 versions of my photos that don't have a link at the bottom of the view_photo page, let me know. i'll make them available...

hehehe. once you start laying out your site designs in css rather than tables, you'll never want to go back. it's SO much easier to debug.

Get a decent standart length (~24-30mm) lens, you might go somewhere :icon14:

Yeah. I'm starting to move that way but I just never have time to research anymore. Whenever I have time at home I don't feel like doing anything.

i just got word tonight that i am now a new employee for Fry's Electronics as a camera salesman. upon further inspection of their wares, i noticed that they have a very nice selection of canon lenses. paired with a nice little employee discount, i may just find myself bringing one of them home with me. :icon25:

i also didn't really have a lot of time to learn it- it doesn't take too long, really. i grabbed the book called "HTML Utopia: Designing Without Using Tables" and that had some very nice tutorials for getting started.

It looks really good, I don't see any problems with it on firefox. I also like how everything flows and links change fast, etc. Good work.

I'm learning it merely for the ASP.NET side of things. What have you noticed about it that is bad?
