and I'm paying through the nose for 2 MBit.

Oh, and did I mention I never get more than 1,5 MBit out of it because apparently the wires in my house are fucked? Great.

Hmmm...I also have Dutch Wanadoo.

I supposedly went from 3,2 Mbps to 6,1 Mbps recently, and when connecting, settings indicate that I *did*.

Download rates and speedtests indicate that I'm on the same ~350K/s download speed, though :icon26:

Yah, USB Speedtouch thingamajig.

Noone ever told me these suckers can't go > 4 :icon26:

Ah well, I'll cope...somehow.

Just wish they wouldn't get my hopes up with this, apparantly void, 'free upgrade' bullshit, though.

yep, that sounds like they increased your bandwidth without actually improving their contention ratio

edit: oh nvm i see you're using the same modem as me (i'm on 2.2mbit). did ISP supply that? if so they should send you an upgrade surely

MKJ, is your DSL dynamic or static? If static, how many IPs do you get and does your provider allow you to set reverse DSN? Are you allowed to host servers? I can't say I get to the best speed, but my provider goes all out with options and support.

you must be on crack then. i had to do a total of zero config changes to make it work with all 4 computers & xbox/ps2.
portmapping is a breeze too, although i wish you could open ports for both UDP and TCP in one and the same rule.

did you update your firmware btw?

(your upgrade will commence before the 30th btw. just so you know :p )
