Ping times

Back in da day when i had 512 BB i used to ping 120ish to the q3w server. If i get 2mbit ADSL today what pings am i looking at to a US east server?
i get 90
but i ping 20 to uk servers

I've been seeing between 100 and 140.

Question, what happened to The Lounge OSP? It went offline right about when Quake 4 hit. Or did they just change IPs?

im pinging 132 according to winping. 4mbit line.
i pinged about 150 to VE and ax way back when with my 1 mbit line so..

since most UK ISPs have a shitty contention ratio it'll vary depending on how many monkeys are online checking their email. best times are either weekday mornings or the middle of the night. early evening weekdays is out for gaming pretty muchDoombrain wrote:Back in da day when i had 512 BB i used to ping 120ish to the q3w server. oh, and at least for me pings to US east coast servers are better than to UK servers
