For me it's the same old stuff over and over again; looking a bit better of course.

CoD2. Good game, not as good as the first, and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to fucking shiney.

FEAR kicks ass, and also scares the shit out of it. Buy it and be impressed. Plus, as a FPS its something different from the WW2 genre which is nice.

Get the new Special Forces expansion for BF2.

BF2 was the first EA PC game I've ever owned, I think. Probably be the last because most of their stuff is shit. Special Forces seems to fall under that category.

I mean, just looking at screenshots and the levels look the fucking same. They used all the same structures. It should fucking be free.

P.S. Regarding the topic...I haven't played it but saw a kid playing it on a 360 today. It looked quite nice. I think I'll buy it once it hits $30 though.

Well I decided to go with FEAR as Brothers in Arms or whatever left a real bad taste in my mouth for WWII games...

Why did Brother In Arms leave a bad taste?

COD2 is a great game, but on the other hand so is FEAR,,, so it's a toss up, I would get both if you can. Serious Sam 2 is also a great game like DC said, but it's hard a fuck at the end I thought my arms were going to fall off.
