so i spent the last hour and a half...

straightening pins on a pentium 4 prescott.
socket 478 of course, one entire corner was flattened. :icon33:
my eyes feel funny now.
kinda messes with your brain... eh, thank god intel went to pinless for the newer stuff.
the real question is, how much do i charge the asshat who owns the pc. Ordinarilly i'd probably only charge him $50 since i work with him and all... but i'm debating hitting him with the retard tax for begining the story of the problem with "it was having problems, so i gave it to my friend to look at [...] now it won't turn on"
people should really stop letting their friends fuck with their pc.
if "your friend" really had a clue wtf he was doing he probably wouldn't be working in sales.
right. now that i've shared my morning drama.
time to eat breakfast and play granturismo.
