I use windowblinds memph. It's been fine and I've used it for quite a long time now. There was one time when it affected another program, I can't remember which. But when I discovered there's an option in windowblinds to make exceptions, it was all cool. I use a hi tek steel skin by K-Tek.

I found the best way to skin it is to cut a slit from it's anus, then pull the knife strait up to it's throat, cutting a slit all the way along the front of it's body. Next cut all the way around it's neck, but don't take the head off. Then try and get a good hold of the skin around the back of it's neck and pull strait down.
Oh wait that's for hobo's....
