That's story's bullshit, though. Ants don't stick in one place, they go back and forth from their nest. It's biologically improbable!
Plus corneal grafting is a day case procedure. People spend an hour or two under local, then go home.

agreed, its improbable, but what if she had a wooden head and they were termites, or what if it was not really ants but dung beetles cos she had shit for brains.
Actually I hope its BS, but.... seen some nasty stuff come out of people.
