If you were to build a gaming rig, what parts would you choose.
If you click on C3, Server or Desktop you'll see more specs for that particular computer.

I would choose the one with the coolest codenames... like Codename: Abraham's Ham or Codename: Date Rape

the desktop comp to me looks ok for a gaming rig. i wouldnt go for the server because from what im told they are crap at games due to them being designed for server tasks. however tbh i wouldnt know so im just guessing.

at least im honest about it tho.

I'd go with the Barton, A7N8X-E, 6800, but get a gig of dual channel at least.

actually, I have a 3200 barton, an A7N8X-E Deluxe and a Thermalright sp-97 just collecting dust on a shelf.

That's what ive had. Good gaming. He would be hard pressed to play Quake4 on any of those though.

The CPU in the Desktop PC wasn't the fastest one I got.
I thought the guy meant 3200 vs 3000 but I think he was talking about the FSB.
So my ram is only running at 133 Mhz.
