And only if you look really hard, almost as a footnote at the end of a sentence, does it even mention that she is investigating the Abramoff scandal.

Let's see... Abramoff buys casino boat (via wire fraud) from Greek Floridian, has bad blood with former owner, gets in argument, and someone overhears a death threat. A short while later, said Greek Floridian winds up dead in a gangland-style hit, and the 3 suspects of the murder have all been paid by Abramoff and his partner for "consulting."

Now, the person investigating Abramoff's improprieties is attacked by a masked man with a baseball bat, in a neighborhood with no crime, and the Abramoff case only gets a passing mention as one of the cases she "has" worked on. :icon27:

On a side note, I don't know what Iowa is going to do when ole Chuck finally kicks the bucket

I don't know a lot about him, but from what I have read he seems to do a little good in Washington now and then. We, on the other hand, have Bill Frist. >=\

Yeah, still in iowa city.. i like school too (except at the moment). I will like school again after next Thursday.

But back on topic (even though it's not exactly the topic): Iowans have two of the only senators who wouldn't sell you for a crack rock.

Agreed. It'll be interesting to see what happens when one (both) of them leave.

Not to mention the governor's upcoming race (yea a little early still). I like Iowa's political stage.
