Quake 4, Swat 4, HL2, Doom 3 etc etc..
You register an account and start betting money in a fight with your opponent, the total sum goes to the winner.

Its the same as poker online with real money.
The site withdraw the money from your account if you loose a fight, and insert the double if ya win.

Indeed, wannabe school snipers will be bitching about lag when they fail to correct for wind.

How do I play?
Step one - Register the challenge
1. Register what game to play
2. Register any specific type of game
3. Decide the playfee
4. Decide the consequences if no winner is reported.
5. Write any special rules to apply the rules.
6. Choose where to play - MonkeyPal do not host games.
7. Choose when to play ? MonkeyPal Time
8. Register who or whom to challenge
9. Submit Challenge
Step two - Accept or Decline
10. Opponent/s accepts the challenge - opponent/s receive where to play
11. Opponent/s decline the challenge - the challenge is terminated
Step three - Play the game
12. Log-in to the server five minutes before the agreed time
13. Play the game
Step four- Report the result
14. The looser registers who the winner is on
http://www.monkeypal.com
To optimize the MonkeyPal gaming system you must disable your pop-up blocker.
You must always use your MonkeyPalâ„¢ nickname as "player name" in every game type you participate in. This must be done before logging into every new challenge.

This idea was tried with Quake 3.
As far as I know, id software sued the company, or at least sent them a cease and desist.
Serious reef, it's not something the gaming community needs. There are organised tournaments for money, and that should be enough. How can you be certain the opponent you're playing is legitimate?
Anyway bottom line for me is, I think the people who sign up for it are naive (sorry), and it hurts the community as a whole if encouraged. It takes even more fun out of the game than the competitive scene already has.

Winner is always the one who holds it and it is the one from the begining. :P
