My ac has formed a symbiotic relationship with a big block of ice (like in spiderman....venom), and i figure the hottest part of this flame will separate them the fastest.

don't worry about it.....the torch fucked up and almost lit the whole thing on fire.

It spit out butane and there were flames everywhere I was like OH SHIT...OFF.

BTW, I think it's the tip of the innermost coloured arc.

That's certainly the case with natural gas burners.

Check your Freon level, low refrigerant can cause your coils to ice up.

Dirty condenser coils will also cause freezing. And genital warts.

I used a condom everytime i did it with the ac, so dirty condenser coils are out of the question...

well the pic andyman posted is a pic of his desktop, and on his desktop is a pic of the flame.

I'm assuming he has an arc welder or something and took a pic of it in action.

My question is why did he not just post a direct link to the original image - i.e. the pic of the flame that he took.

It's like me going out and taking a picture of my house, then putting it as my desktop background, and then taking a pic of my computer screen, and posting that pic.

makes no sense to me.

Click it any look at the full image. ;)

Clearly it's a pic taken in front of his monitor.

Edit: And with a little gamma bumpage we can see that it is probably either one of those butane soldering irons without its tip or a jet lighter :o!

And also TB is off by a little bit. Move the circle one half circle length to the left of where it is and there you have the hottest part. :)

wow my monitor must be aging - all i could see was pure black in the background of the original pic - when i saw your tweaked gamma image i was kinda shocked to see the keyboard and everything.

can all you guys see the keyboard in the first pic?

No, it's pretty dark. I happend to have my LCD on 'Entertainment' mode at the time and could make out a grid in the darkness (his monitor's buttons).

But now that i know where it is I can make out the shape of the keyboard and monitor frame even on the my screens' Text' setting. :o
