I live in a place called a city that is stop and go all the time. When I'm sitting in traffic, I'm not thinking "oh man i wish i got a stick, i would be in a bit more control than i am now......while not moving....."ToxicBug wrote:Why did you buy an automatic mustang again?
Same reason i would.. City driving..ToxicBug wrote:Why did you buy an automatic mustang again?
You drive VW's 'off-road'. Why are you talking. and money doesn't grow on trees.ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. Why not just get an automatic carmy for daily driving and get a manual 2005 Mustang GT to modify and mess around with?
Do i have to dig up some camaros that are faster than anything you have ever sat in that are autos?ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. I know this, and there are automatic drag cars that run 8's, its not the point I'm making.SOAPboy wrote:Do i have to dig up some camaros that are faster than anything you have ever sat in that are autos?ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. So spend 10-20k MORE to get a SECOND car, or just get the car you want..ToxicBug wrote:SOAPboy wrote:Then what is your fucking point riceboiToxicBug wrote: I know this, and there are automatic drag cars that run 8's, its not the point I'm making.ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. What you're suggesting here is to buy two cars, pay for insurance and (if in most cities) parking on two cars then put more money into modding one of them. :icon27: Once you move out of mommy and daddys place and have to work for a living you're in for a big surprise.ToxicBug wrote:ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. No, thats the solution if you don't want to drive a manual car in traffic. Me, I don't mind, although I live in a metropolis, if I bought a Mustang, it would definately be manual. I don't need a second car. By the way, a lot of people here have a winter beater that they drive instead of their nice car here, and people buy them for like $1000, no biggie.Tormentius wrote:What you're suggesting here is to buy two cars, pay for insurance and (if in most cities) parking on two cars then put more money into modding one of them. :icon27: Once you move out of mommy and daddys place and have to work for a living you're in for a big surprise.ToxicBug wrote:ToxicBug wrote:I just don't see why one would get a "performance" car that is automatic and then modify it too. Well I just figure that if you can a afford a brand new Mustang GT, you can afford a $1000 beater.andyman wrote:You don't pay many bills, do youToxicBug wrote:and people buy them for like $1000, no biggie.
