Just an idea kind of cool I guess about a mouse mouse pad

Any geek IT in here? Well I’m sure you are a lot.

Just had the idea of converting a mouse pad into a mouse.
Imagine and virtualized it on your mouse pad. Imagine your mouse pad is itself
The mouse. Put your actual mouse aside and pretend your mouse pad is the mouse.
Go over it clicking right or left, scrolling and even moving it but just with your finger tip
Rubbing the surface of it. The mouse pad would be itself made of digital detector/sensors and would react the same way a mouse do.
It’s kind of hard to explain a new thing, a novelty like that but I think that some of you can understand my idea and then translate it into plain English to others.
Imagine how ergonomically it would be, saving the wrist harm effect by the same token.

I find a touchpad to be both less ergonomical and precise than a regular mouse.

OK, almost my idea but beside having it integrated to a lap top.
Wouldn't you like a pad that you can plug to your PC that work as a mouse?

how could it possibly know what was a left or right click....fingerprints?

The sensors would.
May be a mouse pad with a type of drawing on it so you would know where is left or right and after a few use you would be familiar with it. Just as the paper thing you put on a piano keyboard to learn the notes.

Any one in here can make one? I'm sure some of you can.
Keep me in touch, PM me. If you need any insight I am here PM.
Thanks for all of your collaboration.
Man, I am giving you a ticket here and we all can share it.
I think it is a blast novelty.
Why am I doing this?
I am tired to see all my ideas in the stores and it's not me who get the reward of them all.
So fuck!!! Sorry but really, I still have plenty but that be cool if we could do one together.

riddla wrote:pete you should try drinking some drano, that stuff will make your mouse move by itself.
I don't believe I'm replying to you.
If I want to stay on the same level as you toward me, I would say that after reading every replies you do to me, you do me much more work than drano.
No harm
Inside joke
You know how much I love you.
Take care my friend

It already exists on many levels. Ever hear of a touch screen? As for laptops they already have them too, my first laptop had one of those. They suck too.

Touchpads are fucking lame. I actually tried playing Half-Life on one before and it was absolutely impossible. Most people with laptops wont even use them.

If I purchase another laptop I'm going to make sure it has bluetooth built in and pick up a small bluetooth mouse.
