Movies: Jarhead - possible spoilers

Saw a preview for this move last night when I went to see DOOM. I thought it looked pretty promising. Plus I think it's cool to see the guy from Donnie Darko take a role like that. I think it was probably a good choice. What do you guys think of it?
For those who don't know, it's about a kid who joins the army and is sent off to the Gulf War. The main character is Donnie from Donnie Darko.

Just finished the book. It wasn't too bad, especially for a marine turned writer.
The movie should be interesting depending on how they have adapted it.

Actually, that was proof that Bush, Sr. had a brain in his head. No viable exit strategy and no realistic successor to Saddam.
