I think Vin Diesel and The Rock have nothing on Sly and Arnold. I don't think we'll ever have such great personas in film for many years to come.

BTW, Arnold > Sly.

Vin Diesel is a horrible actor. The Rock however actually isn't that bad, surprisingly enough. I thought he was pretty good in DOOM. I don't know if anyone could ever replaced Arnold though.

Huh? Stallone can actually act. Arnie in Kindergarten Cop is the equivalent of sticking a party hat on a rottweiler and then having a laugh. Stallone has made some dumb choices to be sure, but there's something there when he wants to show it. (can't believe how gay that sounds).

The operative word is 'can'. This doesn't entail he 'does' with any great frequency.

Copland. Just as a reminder...I'm not suggesting Stallone is a 'great' actor, I just brought it up as a friendly rebuttal to Dave's claim that Arnie is 'deeper' than Stallone (whatever that might mean).

By the way, Arnold acted himself into the Cauliforneia governorship... But I guess Stalone will still have Copland
