saw it this AM at about 6 PST. she probably dropped herself so that Bush doesn't have to go through the further embarassment she will bring during the hearings...
apparently the initial 'test' she did was laughable...

Good, but I can't help thinking that he did this intentionally. I think he's had a real candiate in mind the whole time, and Miers was a feint.

I doubt she was a feint. she was dropped because too many rebublicans thought she would be another souter and too many democrats thought she would be another souter.
I was personally hoping she would stick it through, but why put yourself through all that shit?

i think bush told her to quit cause his plan to put a drone that would bend to his right wind christian prochoice/pro ID desires. Thats all the Rep part is right now, a religious movement, its pretty sickening actualy and im not really against christians. Just seems like they trying to take over and im not down with infringment of my individual and spiritual rights, which is what they are obviously trying to impose.

I think you are reading way more into it that there really is. I think most of the Republicans really thought she would'nt legislate ENOUGH from the bench to suit their purpose.
eh, just an opinion, who really knows.
