Wow, 2/15 sounds pretty sick. Is it over cable or fiberoptic? If that transfer speed data is from a test server, its never accurate.

well, fiber infrastructure, cable form the node to my house. BAsicly cable. they just lite up some wire is all.
Well the speak easy servers are pretty good on speed tests, and if nothing else i can use it to compare to others. There is a rumor that no one is getting the speeds they should be getting, so just trying to tally some data.

chup, they just offered a new package. I dont knwo if its in your area, but its like 15 extra for them to move your upload from 40kb a sec to 2mbit. Huge difference.

If its cable, then those numbers are just peak bandwidth. You'll hardly ever see them, and cable connections are shared with other users around u, so that could have something to do with it.

Ya got me amid, but only in part. it just rolled out and since i actualy work for road runner, im looking to see what other people are getting, me and a few of my co-workers dont seem to be getting what we should be and since i work for the company if i can build up a database of people also getting slower speeds, perhaps it can be fixed.
dig?
now off my e-penis son. besides, i thought most people on here had souped up connections already.

I'm on roadrunner's basic package. We get something like 5000/256. The pings are amazing though. 10x better than Adelphia ever was.
