Quake3World

I tried out 2 different cfg files, see these screenies:

config1
config2

I want the more blurry walls like in de second screenshot, but not the dark spots in the map, which as you can see are not there in the first screenshot, although lightning and gamma settings are the same. So what cvars do i need to get rid of these black shadows?
