DRuM solo!

Yeah yeah, it's only drums I know. :D I might have overdone the mix on the bass. Anyway, this is just for fun, done at home in my kitchen. The intro is just some rolling for a few seconds and then it goes into some various beats from soca to a kind of funk beat and then into a rock beat. I'm not danny carey so don't even begin to compare. :icon28:

You seem to be one of those rare drummers who actually play music and dont just bang skins.
You're really very good, DRuM. An assclown, for sure. But a very good drummer. I think we must play together once.

Good stuff man, balance and recording quality are much better on this one. Possibly a bit too much reverb..b..b..b..b..b.. on that snare tho :)

hey drum, check out this cat. don't know if i pointed him out to you before, but its a guy I went to school with who is pretty damn amazing. I think you might dig his work for some reason....

so you have an idea of what you are in for : " the album grooves hard with Afro-Brazilian inspired rhythms and haunting melodies that exude the beauty of nature. Further layers of Indonesian gamelans, exotic percussion, and shimmering vibes give the album an otherworldly quality that can only be experienced from time spent in Africa, the Caribbean, South America and Australia"

for those not into the hippy dippy do jazz thing, check out his work with screeming trees, and mad season. some good live bootlegs at

dude thats a nice groove you got.
mad respect. i always loved drums.
one of the more impressive instrumentals i ever saw at a concert was 3 drummers (from various bands that i cant remember) and the bass player from BNL playing together on a "jam stage" at a festival concert i went to.
too bad you don't live anywhere near me... cuz i know a really good band that needs a drummer. :p

Cool, but the drum roll thing in the beginning doesn't sound very good tbh, though you are good at it.

Listening to this makes me want to open up my midi sequencer though :paranoid:
