Denz's Official Q4W Game Server

Directions: Install the patch, and put all map .pk4 files in your q4base Directory. Unzip Q4MAX into your root Quake 4 directory. If you have an earlier version of Q4MAX, delete it before installing the new one. If you're lazy, connect to the server and auto download will take care of the maps and mod for you. If disconnected after a map ends, it's because you don't have the next map. Reconnect and auto download will take care of it.

denz,
when I created a server, there's a default 'mapcycle.scriptcfg' next to where it says 'map cycle script file' in advanced options. I think that rotates the maps that you already have.

Maps are ok now.
humm. MKJ I don't know why you can't join up. It appears that everyone that joined had a good time. Pings were ok. Perhaps when they patch the game with some new net code then the pings will come down some.

The server can be found in the Q4 Browser and it's open to the public so there is always (almost always) someone on. So if you feel like a game just pop on in and show those noobs what's what.
Doomer and Piecemaker are admins.

i could play online a grand total of one time, on drummies server.
everywhere else my machine cant seem to get auth from the master server. bitches

Damn GGs. I hit denz with the best shot I've ever hit. The longest day, he was on his way off the bounce pad to the quad platform, and I was near a rocket launcher. BAM! hit him right in the goddamn face with an air rocket from a mile away right before he could reach the quad. It was totally sweet.

That hurt too man, I was so looking forward to getting that quad and doing some massive damage to other noobs. But once again Doomer crushed my dreams of becomming a legend. hahahah

Ok the server is back to normal, no custom maps, config back to the original state.

Hmm, if you add a single custom .pk4 file into the server does it cause this error to fire?

If you add custom maps to the server then the ppl joining the server must have the same maps or you can't join.
We are trying to get the server to enable downloading but no luck yet. Perhaps this is something that needs to be fixed in the program itself.

no one i could tell is from Q3W
tourney mode 2 vs 2 so i didn't feel like watching 3 more games ..change that please

Yeah I saw that the server is full now, they are playing a tourney,,, I believe my server has been overrun by aliens.
