Riddle me this...

Just wanted to record a dmeo of me doin some stuff in Multiplayer
on a server i created and it will not let me record a net demo!!!
How gay?! So the question is:
Is there anyway to make a demo that isnt the size of my harddrive :icon30:

Did you g_syncronousClients 1?
I don't have the game, but I just remember doin this shit in Quake 3. So I have no idea if that is the problem...

Yeah that does suck. The work around is to start a dedicated server, then open up another instance of q4, and connect through that.

Listen server demos sucked in VQ3 too (played back at 20 fps by default). It already was a good call to record demos on a local ded. server with Q3. It's a hassle though. Too bad they didn't fix this in Q4.
