At the risk of sounding like Goof,

A woman has been detained under anti-terror laws for walking - rather than cycling - past a Scottish harbour.

Toxic, detailing anyone with a rucksack would make sense too, because it could be concealing a bomb.

Better shoot them to make sure, too.

It's fucking stupid, no 'though'.

After being held for four hours after the incident in May, Ms Cameron has now been told she will not be prosecuted.
translation: if this goes to court we'll look like a bunch of complete tits

its getting worse, seems to me that a lot of goverments are bringing in these type of inane laws to supposedly "protect" us when all i can see is our basic human rights been ripped apart.
oz gov passed laws last week giving police the right to shoot to kill, so if youre acting ( in their opinion ) weird and you run when told to stop they can kill you then hide behind the new laws.
tis fucked imho

Although... she should listen when instructed previously to not walk there..
One day, I was told by a guard on the gate that I couldn't use the route any more because it was solely a cycle path.

"He said if I was caught doing it again, I'd be arrested," she told The Times.
And that's what they did, you do it again, you'll be arrested. Ok, there she goes arrest the bitch. People need to respect authority a little more, even though it's retarded she was warned once, arrested the second time..

ay, but to call it an "anti-terror measure" is just retarded

probably, only thing they could actually charge her under, since jaywalking probably didn't apply... :D

Dek I don't agree.
The police shouldn't be allowed to just arrest you for whatever ridiculous thing. It's not like she was actually breaking any laws, disrupting public order, being violent, obscene or a danger in any way. It was argued that she was a potential terrorist threat. If that's serious, then the police has made a huge, huge misjudgement of the situation and they will be the last to admit it.

Respect comes from two ways. If my rights don't get respected by the police, they can fuck right off. If the police acts like a bunch Gestapo officers it's no surprise they aren't being respected anymore.

She's a Syrian terrorist.

She just doesn't know it yet.
