yeah. i dunno about the states but in ontario we get information on thousands of lakes concerning how much fish an adult/child/pregnant women should eat from that lake. the size of the fish is taken into consideration as well.

naturally occuring mercury in the lakes is normal. the older the fish the more mercury is likely present. you gotta eat ALOT of fish before it becomes a concern though.
