Recording videos (VCR tapes) onto my HDD

Ok, I need to record some old war documentaries to my HDD in order to take screen caps of them.

I've got a 9800pro TVI card thingy, and it came with a little box device that enables me to both output and input composite and s-video.

Because my VCR doesn't have composite out, I've plugged a SCART to s-video converter into my VCR and have then plugged an s-video to composite out lead (it's all i have to hand) into the converter and the little box thingy to go into my computer. Due to my inability to type and create proper sentences, here's a diagram:

but now what? how do i view (if it's even working) what's on my VCR on the PC?

All that's on my installation CD are the drivers?

EDIT: nevermind, I found another CD in the box

EDIT2: none of the apps seem to be relevant

EDIT3: ahhhhhh, the WDM input driver

When I open this DVCR thing, it then shows me what it's receiving from my video, i can then record it to my HDD by pressing a record button in the UI. Simple. \o/
