My housemate and I occassionally have a bash against bots

How big is the community? (e.g. average number of players, servers, on at any given time)

I think it's similar to the Quake3 one, a smallish number of diehard fans. He's crap online though which is why we only play on our LAN

Never really played it, does it need a cd key online?

I'd like to start playing it occassionally but if it's quite dead then I won't waste my time.

Good to know that when someone wants to download UrT, the download will stop midstream.

All Seeing Eye will allow you to view servers running it to have a look.

I occasionally still play it. Rarely online though, but at LAN parties we often give it a shot.

Played it, enjoyed it for a bit. As I suspected, there are a shortage of good servers.

Unreal Tournament ? I havent played that in about 5 years. The last time I did it sucked so hard. I didnt understand what the fuck was going on, hated the characters, hated the maps, hated the weapons

I likde the crazy add on mod that was big japanese robots


that shit was awesome..... one of the robots had 6 - 8 rocket launchers on it and the boost jump was awesome.... needless to say it required a pretty big map.....

the mod that had different classes of character "could" have been good.... like the big chaingun guy or the little medic dude etc etc etc



I could never find anyone who had the mod "Might have been an actual release , but hey. whos kidding who here, it was D/l'ed like everything else" as it was about 200 meg or something and impossible to get on Dialup at the time.

Played there today. Btw when I said it was shit, I was referring to UT not UrT.

How do I increase the brightness in game though? It's too dark on this laptop screen. The in-game brightness is already at max, but I suspect typing something in the console can increase the brightness even further.

I thought this was about Unreal Tournament...I played Urban Terror a few times, didn't really like it.

urban terror was great until around 9/11. then the community and the game turned to shit

Fixed the brightness problem, much better now.

4days, I hear ya, the community isn't what it used to be. I recall, dmmh was all over this game in the past.
