Buy always
Try before you buy
Fuck paying for anything
*me = Try before I buy on *almost everything. I personally aint going to spend hundreds and possibly thousand of dollars each year on apps or games that I install and use once before HATING them and consigning them to the recycle bin in reality and on my comp.
*Almost is defined by Media that I am unsure of. So for example, I will buy Groups/Artists Albums or stuff I have liked previously, Games like Quake, John Hughes movies, Kevin Smith movies, Session Software/Pro Tools/Cool Edit Pro, Windows O/S all that kind of shit but not stuff that I have played previously and not really liked but am curious as to the updated version.

Try before I buy.
If there's no reasonable option to try before buying, or the trial doesn't satisfy me, I'll try out the whole thing. And on top of that if I have to do so, it'll take more to get me to buy at that point.
I'll always look for the legal free alternatives before buying or trying, too.

My view on ripping stuff off is that the usual arguments don't hold up.
If you hate the company
If you can't afford the product
If you think the product sucks
...use a different product. After all, buy using it without paying, you're still increasing the product's popularity and therefore decreasing the success of better alternatives.

true but at the same time how you going to know that the product is worthless or unusable unless you either pay for it and take the risk or download it and see for yourself which product suits you better
