I probably didn't use the forum's search feature well enough, but I didn't know about this
As we speculated on the night of X05 (us being clever-boots and all), id and Raven Software's new Castle Wolfenstein title will lead on Xbox 360 but is definitely also coming to PC.

[...]

None of the three companies has suggested when we can expect to see it either, although the bods at Microsoft would be keen for us to point out that it will lead on Xbox 360.
Well... I didn't even know a new Wolfenstein game was coming, but the fact that it's developed for XBox 360 and then ported to the PC doesn't promise anything good IMO.

Hopefully it's not a case of being ported to PC (or at least, not turning out like a port), but two versions simultaneously being developed for both platforms

Yeah like they did with Doom 3.

I wouldn't be surprised if it uses the Doom 3 engine, so that should be positive

Dunno if people have seen this video yet. It has concept art from the new game

A seamless world without loading times is a First Person Shooter first, and a pretty exciting promise IMO

Yeah, not like that hasn't been on the first published feature list, then taken off for the final version of pretty much every shooter since 2000,

Yes but those previous games weren't sporting mega texture tech.

UE3 does the same thing too.
